California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc. -- Immigration and Access to Education Project
California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation's Immigration and Access to Education Project assists immigrants with citizenship applications, VAWA and U-Visa petitions, and other family-based immigration issues. We provide full representation and brief services. We also conduct community education and leadership forums on immigration law and education access issues.
Among the staff are fluent Spanish-speaking attorneys who work increase access to legal resources for immigrants detained by ICE through direct representation, pro bono referrrals, pro se materials, and "Know Your Rights" presentations and who work under our Civil Rights initiative, to increase access to justice for parents, children and families seeking access to equal education opportunities. |
