The Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) is the LSC funded basic field program for the Los Angeles Basin. The Eviction Defense Center, also known as the Central Office or 8th and Union, handles eviction defense and affirmative slum housing work. Eligibility is determined by LSC regulations, an income of up to 200% of the federal poverty level.
