The Agricultural Worker Health Project (AWHP) assists agricultural workers with occupational health and safety issues, including pesticides and other hazardous workplace conditions. We also represent workers with cases involving denials of rest and meal periods, protective equipment, and wages/overtime. We provide some assistance with discrimination and sexual harassment cases. We also handle employee housing issues.
Most people access our services through our Fresno office, but clients can also reach us at our main office in Sacramento by calling 916-446-7904 at anytime. |

Full Legal Representation- Agricultural Workers-- health, safety, wages, workplace issues, and employee housing issues. THIS IS A SPECIALIZED PROJECT.
Brief Advice- If they contact us, we give brief advice to other low-wage workers when possible.
Self-Help Materials- We help prepare documents in pro per cases and/or negotiate with the opposing party for an informal resolution.
Other- We do outreach presentations to worker and community groups.
